Once you have booked with me I will send you a questionnaire and a 3 day food diary to complete before you come to your session.
The consultation itself takes place in my clinic, either in Maidenhead or Wokingham (One Wellbeing) in a private and comfortable environment.
Initially we chat through the questionnaire you completed and I often ask more questions to get a real understanding of what your health aspirations are and your health history and current health. Your answers help me to ascertain if there are any potential imbalances within key body systems that may be contributing to the symptoms you are experiencing. I will explain any thoughts I have to you in full.
We then discuss your food likes and dislikes, your time and budgetary constraints to enable me to look at foods that we can use to support the imbalances. At times I may also recommend supplements to help boost key nutrients.
Sometimes I may recommend further tests to clarify suspicions, although I will always inform you of my recommendations and they are at an additional cost and are optional.
After your consultation I write up all of our discussions and send you an information pack with details of what we talked about and provide you with a plan to help you work towards your health goals. It includes meal ideas to help you adjust to the changes too.
In the majority of cases more than one consultation is necessary. This is so that we can review progress and evolve the plan over time. I will always discuss with you how many sessions I think are appropriate and there are several package deals in place (check out the fees page) which provide you with savings on multiple bookings.
I work evenings and weekends and Skype consultations are available on request.
